Brief Biography:

James is a US Army Officer assigned to 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey, South Korea. He is the platoon leader of 1st Platoon “DEATH DEALERS!,” otherwise known as the *best* Avenger platoon in E/6-52 ADA, and the Battery Land and Ammunition Officer. James is a recent graduate of the Joint Fire Power Course and an honor graduate of his Air Defense OBC class, where he was honored with the Communicative Skills Award for most outstanding Battle Analysis briefing. He also received the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (Gold) after successfully completing all required events during his time at Fort Bliss, TX.
James is a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and U of I Army ROTC alumn, with a BA in Philosophy and Political Science. Memorable achievements from his time at Illinois include making Dean’s List, graduating from Airborne School, winning the Hazelton Award, and being featured on the University Housing website for his pimped-out abode.
In his free time, James enjoys working out, playing sports, watching football, and moonlighting as an artist/photographer/computer programmer/interior designer. James is an avid player of fantasy football with eight trophies to his name (2009 - 1st Place Yahoo Public 268238, 2008 - 1st Place Yahoo Public 543022). James can also do more pullups than you. In the future he plans to make it through Selection (for Special Forces) and attend Law School at Northwestern University.
James currently has two panda bear hamsters (Wall-E and Eve), a kitten (Aaliyah), a plecostomus catfish (he left Pleco with Jenny), a parakeet (with Steph), and two dogs (with his parents), plus four pet palm trees (two Majesties and two Sagos), a bromeliad, and a pet pineapple plant. Alas, the teddy bear hamster James had with Farizah has passed away. RIP Voracious Ham-Monster. Perhaps there’s a Korean Jindo dog in the near future…
Finally, James has been studying subway maps while riding the subway the past few days and is trying to teach himself how to read and write Korean. He’s a pretty fast learner.
